Frequently Asked Questions Q: Once I take a class, how long does it normally take the State of Utah to process my submitted application? A: It will usually take up to 60 days for Utah to process your application. If you do not hear back within that time period, we would suggest you contact the Utah Bureau of Identification at 801-965-4445 Q: If I wanted you to come to my area of the State to offer a class, will you? A: We certainly may! Especially if you have the ability to host a class and we can work together to sign people up (click here for further and a bonus for you). We are always looking for new areas to host our class. Best of all, we charge no extra for our travel time. Keep an eye out for future classes in your area here! Q: I have registered for a class. Do I need to bring any firearms? A: That depends. They are not allowed in the classroom setting. The Utah CCW Permit requires no live firing, but the Florida permit does. If your registered for our Florida session, please bring your firearm and leave it in your vehicle and secure it. Q: What do I need to bring to class? A: Just a copy of your drivers license or state ID. A F.O.I.D. (Firearm Owners Identification Card) is not needed for the Utah CCW Permit. Q: Why are your classes so reasonably priced? A: We only charge $100 per person for the Utah CCW Permit. Other companies charge much more than this. We believe we can offer you the best training, with the most options available (photo, fingerprinting and mailing included) at the most economical pricing available. We will even provide a tracking number for your mailed in application, at class! Q: What if I want the Florida certification which requires shooting? A: We offer the Florida Certification on occasion. Please check the Class Offerings Page for locations near you. Q: I have a question that is not answered here - what now? A: Just ask us! You may either call us at (815) 534-GUNS (4867) or send us an email!
